Update on the missing ice cream story: I put up a sign on the fridge saying "To: Whoever Ate My Ice Cream Cones, I would appreciate it if you would replace them." Today, they were BACK! My chocolate came home! I'm going to go eat ice cream to celebrate.
Also, mega political power plays going on in orchestra (KSO) this week. I must be a good listener because everyone is talking to me about it, which is nice because it keeps me in the gossip loop. I think I'm going to keep quiet for the next little while and see what develops, but things should get interesting by Christmas.

My mom bought me some of those Rolo ice cream cones (with the all-chocolate-cones) yesterday, and when I went to the fridge today the box was open and they were half gone!! I'm very upset. I didn't mind when they took my coffee ('cause I don't drink coffee anyway) but NOBODY messes with my chocolate!!

Here's my amusing anecdote for the day (actually for yesterday, because it is now tomorrow). You may recall from previous comments that my computer is Pooh-ish these days. Normally, I keep the mute on for class. However, today I forgot to mute my computer before I went to class. My crim. prof came in and said something to the effect of "Well, I suppose we should get started." at which point I turned my computer on, to hear it say "That's a good idea, Eeyore!" in Christopher Robin's voice. We're doing murder in class next. I wonder if that's significant?

I picked up a cold over the weekend, which is somewhat annoying today, but not as bad as I was afraid it would get. It hasn't made the weekend all that much fun, however.
The OSCC constitution meeting went better than expected. Comments have been made as to how interesting it would have been had there been flies on the wall -- M&M vs MA & me as to what is and is not professional and collegial conduct, and how to make certain people finish certain jobs (without allowing comments about how certain other people STILL haven't finished the handbook). Still, we got through more than half of it in 7 hours. The names of at least two of my blog readers were mentioned at various points, but always in a good light, naturally. MA is definitely getting chocolates at the end of this!
Friday night was a movie with $. Saturday night was ice cream (at a place that we have to take the Scoring Team to for our next dessert/meeting) with LL and MotivatedTea. I ate until I was sick. (Probably should have brought my pills. Oops.) Sunday I woke up with the cold so I slept late, took the bus back, which was late, which made me late for rehearsal which I didn't want to go to but did anyway. Skipped my morning class today and feel much better for it. Now I'd better go scarf some dinner so I don't miss my ride to rehearsal tonight.

Just a quick catch-up post. My desktop is now very Pooh-ish, thanks to MT. QSO rehearsals have been going better than expected. Had dinner Monday with M (pizza) and very good conversation. Had dinner last night with FF, bf, and Barbie (vietnamese) and also good (although slightly more odd) conversation. Plans for the weekend:
Possibly coffee Fri night with $.
Constitution meeting all day Saturday.
Hopefully something social with LL Sunday before catching a bus and coming back for QSOC rehearsal.
Ack! I just broke another hairclip. *sigh*
MT, if you're reading this, can you drop hints for me about a certain door and a certain batch of carrot-cake muffins (with cream cheese icing)? Thanks!

It's snowing today. The nice kind of snow. I got a B+ on my law assignment (yay!) and am only slightly miffed -- the TA "corrected" my infinitives by splitting them all. I'm seeing M today (I think) after orchestra and we're going somewhere cheap, 'cause I have no moohla. Lastly, I dyed my hair yesterday, for the fun of it. One comment so far, but I expect more at orchestra. Musicians notice these kinds of things. (Law students are to stuffy to comment.)

For some reason, practicing is so much more fun/effective when you have absolutely no reason to do it than when you have to learn something by a specific deadline. I had a nice long visit with Brahms, Bach, and Beethoven today, plus a bit of time on Sibelius.
Oh, and we started casebook #2 in public law. #3 will be available in the bookstore shortly. Lucky us.

LAWYER QUOTE
A lawyer's primer: If you don't have the law, you argue the facts; if you don't have the facts, you argue the law; if you have neither the facts nor the law, then you argue the Constitution. -- ?
